About Total War Saga: TROY
A Total War Saga: TROY is a strategy game developed by Creative Assembly and published by SEGA. Steam release date: 2 September 2021.
Inspired by Homer's Iliad, TROY brings the Total War formula to the Bronze Age Aegean. On the turn-based campaign map you manage a multi-resource economy of food, wood, stone, bronze and gold, forge alliances, win the favour of the gods and expand your realm. When armies meet, battles play out in real time with thousands of soldiers, where terrain, tall grass and flanking decide the outcome. Legendary heroes such as Achilles, Hector, Odysseus and Paris lead their factions with unique abilities and campaign goals. The game blends myth and history through its 'Truth Behind the Myth' approach, portraying centaurs and minotaurs as grounded, believable warriors.
