Root is a game of adventure and war in which 2 to 4 players battle for control of a vast wilderness. The nefarious Marquise de Cat has seized the great woodland to harvest its riches, while the creatures of the forest band together as the Alliance to subvert her rule. The proud Eyrie dynasties seek to reclaim their former glory, and wandering Vagabonds move along the dangerous woodland paths, helping or hindering each side. Every faction plays by its own asymmetric rules. Play against AI opponents, with friends on one screen or online with cross-platform multiplayer, and test yourself in dedicated challenges.
