About Seal of Evil
Seal of Evil is a classic action role-playing game developed by Object Software Limited, published by Strategy First and released on 15 October 2004. Its story is set in the twilight years of the Warring States period of Chinese history, from 476 to 206 BC, a turbulent time that marks the disintegration of the Zhou, the longest lived of all imperial dynasties.
Out of the strife and chaos emerges a nobleman with an indomitable spirit and an uncompromising vision of the future: Ying Zheng, ruler of the Qin state, who will stop at nothing to reunite the disparate Chinese kingdoms. Combining ancient legends and mythic storytelling with historical fact, the game sets the stage for an epic adventure.
You struggle to thwart the Qin invasion of your peaceful homeland, East Baiyue. Ferocious beasts, merciless enemy soldiers, wicked bandits and terrifying supernatural foes stand in the way, but along the journey you acquire powerful weapons and equipment. Armed with mighty elemental magic, you may yet come face to face with the very gods themselves.
It is a single-player isometric RPG for Windows with cloud saves. It runs on Windows 7, 8 or 10 and supports English audio and text. The minimum configuration requires a 1.8 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and a DirectX 7-compatible 3D graphics card with DirectX 9. The game is rated USK 16 and is a fine pick for players who enjoy classic action RPGs, Chinese history and myth, and battles fought with sword and elemental magic.
