About Spacebase Startopia
Spacebase Startopia is a space station management and strategy game developed by Realmforge Studios and published by Kalypso Media. Steam release date: 26 March 2021.
After 17 years of standing empty, an old space station welcomes a new commander: you. Guided and mocked in equal measure by VAL, the station's sarcastic AI, you develop new sectors and manage three decks: the Sub-Deck for facilities and services, the Fun Deck for entertainment and the Bio-Deck, a terraformed nature zone. Eight alien races visit with their own needs and moods, and keeping them happy brings in the energy that funds expansion. Meanwhile rival commanders and enemy creatures lurk in other sectors, so you also build defences and fight real-time skirmishes. There is a single-player campaign, a flexible sandbox and competitive or co-operative multiplayer for up to four players, all wrapped in plenty of humour.
