About Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II is an action game developed by LucasArts and published by Disney on GOG. It continues the story of Starkiller, Darth Vader's fugitive apprentice, in a tale set in the era between Episode III and Episode IV. Vader has turned to cloning in his hunt for the perfect apprentice, and Starkiller must face both his former master and questions about his own identity. The sequel builds on the over-the-top Force powers of its predecessor and asks you to wield them on a far grander scale.
Combat centres on Starkiller's dual lightsabers, letting him carve through stormtroopers and heavier foes with fast, acrobatic strikes. New Force abilities expand the arsenal. Mind Trick lets you confuse enemies so they turn on their allies, while Force Fury unleashes a surge of power that lifts every attack. Improved targeting makes it easier to pick the right enemy or object to throw, push or electrocute, so each fight flows smoothly between saber combos and devastating Force moves.
The game uses physics technology including Digital Molecular Matter, euphoria and Havok, so materials splinter, bend and shatter while enemies react convincingly to every blow. Beyond the story, you can unlock costumes and lightsaber crystals that change Starkiller's look and abilities, test your skills in challenge levels and take on huge boss battles. The narrative earned recognition from both the Writers Guild of America and the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.
