About Ticket to Earth

Ticket to Earth is a tactical puzzle RPG developed and published by Robot Circus, an independent studio from Melbourne, Australia, and released on PC in 2017. It takes place on a distant planet, where the colony of New Providence is dying after the end of a mining boom and only one ship bound for Earth remains. Orphaned Rose is forced to fight to protect everything she loves, trapped between bloodthirsty marauders and a corrupt government. Together with three other unlikely heroes, she is drawn into a sci-fi story of betrayal and insurrection where the fate of an entire world rests on their shoulders.

The game blends battlefield tactics, tile-matching puzzles and RPG progression into its own style of play. The puzzle grid is your battlefield: you position your team on colored tiles, collect matching tiles as you move and use them to power up devastating combat abilities. Every step matters, because where you end a move decides both what you collect and who can reach you next. Planning a route that gathers the right colors while setting up a strong attack is deeply satisfying, and enemies such as murderous criminals, rampaging robots and grotesque mutants force you to adapt your plans in each fight.

Each of the four mismatched heroes has a personal story and a deep progression tree, guided by the mysterious Stellar Consciousness Movement. As you play, you unlock hundreds of potent combat abilities and choose how each character develops, mixing damage, defense and support to build a team that fits your style. With the saga now complete, there are over 100 unique battle locations and hours of narrative-driven gameplay as you fight your way across New Providence. The original mobile hit came to PC with greatly improved high-resolution visuals and a range of other enhancements.

Ticket to Earth is a single-player game with achievements and cloud saves, available for Windows and macOS. It is a great pick for fans of tactics games who enjoy thinking several moves ahead, as well as for puzzle lovers who want a story with more weight than usual. Battles are compact enough for short sessions, but the campaign and the choices in each skill tree keep you hooked for a long time. If you like the idea of a turn-based fight where every tile counts and every hero matters, this sci-fi adventure offers something genuinely different. New Providence needs you.
