About Tomb Raider I
Tomb Raider I is the 1996 action adventure that introduced Lara Croft, developed by Core Design and originally published by Eidos Interactive. The PC version arrived on Steam for Windows on 28 November 2012 and is now published by Crystal Dynamics.
Hired to recover the pieces of an ancient artifact called the Scion, Lara runs, jumps, swims and climbs through lost cities in Peru, Greek and Roman ruins, Egyptian temples and the remains of Atlantis. Its grid-based 3D levels mix precise platforming, lever and block puzzles, secrets and tense fights with wolves, bears, dinosaurs and rival mercenaries, all wrapped in an atmospheric, mostly silent sense of isolation that defined the series.
