About Tower of Time
Tower of Time is a story-rich fantasy RPG and dungeon crawler developed and published by Event Horizon in 2018. You enter a mysterious tower in Artara, a world where technology meets magic with devastating consequences. The adventure is packed with over 50 hours of gameplay, hand-crafted levels and a story told through cinematics, while hundreds of lore books and scattered pieces of information slowly reveal the history of Artara as your party of champions approaches its fate.
Combat is the heart of the game. The Arrow-Time system lets you slow the action down to a crawl or pause it entirely, so you can plan ahead, position your party where it is needed, react to new threats, deploy spells and counter enemy attacks. Each battle is designed like a tactical puzzle, especially on harder difficulties. You face 150 enemies with unique skills and tactics and 50 bosses wielding a diverse range of spells, and multiple combat modes keep the challenge fresh.
Your party is built from 7 unique character classes, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. A complex skill system with two exclusive enhancement trees, skill gestures that let you draw some skills, and gravity manipulation for leaping across the battlefield give you plenty of options. Thousands of pieces of loot and equipment, crafting, enchanting and legendary items let you refine every hero, while the upgradeable city on the surface unlocks new progress and a party alignment system shapes your group.
Five difficulty levels range from gentle to Epic, the latter not recommended for new players, and optional combat challenges test your tactical and party-building skills. The GOG version runs on Windows and Linux, supports achievements and cloud saves, and offers audio and text in English, German, French, Italian, Polish, Turkish, Russian and Chinese.
