About Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered
Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered is a first-person shooter developed by Nightdive Studios and Iguana Entertainment and published by Nightdive Studios and Atari, released on 30 November 2023. It is a faithful restoration of the classic originally released in 2000 for the Nintendo 64, available for the first time since that release.
The story picks up right after the events of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil and brings the Turok trilogy to its finale. Dual protagonists Joseph and Danielle Fireseed, of the Turok family tree, battle the titular antagonist Oblivion and its followers, the Flesh Eaters, to finish the hunt.
The remaster is the first Nightdive title built on the latest version of the KEX Engine, with an improved renderer for 3D models, textures and graphical effects. It offers up to 4K resolution at 120 FPS, anti-aliasing, bloom, ambient occlusion, dynamic shadows and motion blur, along with remastered environment art, character models, updated weapon models and brand new achievements.
The game runs on Windows. It runs on 64-bit Windows 7 and supports English with full audio, plus French, Italian, German and Spanish text. The minimum setup needs a 2.0 GHz dual-core Intel or AMD processor, 2 GB of RAM, a GPU with DirectX 11 or Vulkan 1.1 support and 420 MB of storage.
