About Voyagers of Nera
Voyagers of Nera is a survival crafting adventure set in a vast magical ocean full of ancient ruins and diverse biomes. It is developed by Treehouse Games and published by Treehouse Games and Fireshine Games, and it launched in Early Access on 16 September 2025. Nera is a world of beauty, magic and danger, and you play as an Echo, a descendant of the long-extinct protectors of this world, charged with sailing the seas and saving what is left.
Your task is to defeat the monstrous creatures of the Deep and awaken the spirits before they fade away forever. You sail to distant islands or surf across the waves, building your own boats from scratch by adding sails, decorations, cannons and magical stations. Diving beneath the surface reveals rare resources and hidden treasure, though something always lurks in the depths. Fantastical biomes include an archipelago formed around a fallen colossus and coral cliffs that tower into the sky.
Lost spirits are scattered throughout the world, hiding from the monsters that prey on them. Rescue them and they teach you crafting recipes and new magical abilities in return. Each biome was once home to a powerful Elder Spirit, now shattered and lost, and finding its shards lets you awaken it, inherit its powers and help restore Nera. Mighty seaside bases, new weapons and nature magic all help you battle creatures above and below the waves.
Growing island villages are shaped with an expressive construction system, and each base lets you refine resources, cook meals and craft new gear while also sheltering the spirits, who power your settlement in return. You can voyage solo or in a group of up to ten players on a server, taking on roles such as adventurer, crafter, fighter or builder, with hosted games and dedicated servers available. The difficulty is adjustable. Voyagers of Nera is rated USK 16.
