About Whiskerwood
Whiskerwood is a city-building and colony-management game developed by Minakata Dynamics and published by Hooded Horse. It launched in Early Access on Steam on 6 November 2025, so content may still change.
As the cats extend their rule across the seas, mice are shipped off to untouched islands to found colonies and supply their feline masters. Space on each island is limited, so you build upwards into towers and dig into cliffs and mountains – verticality is central to every layout. More than 40 resources, from ore, wood and wheat to rope, coats, spices and furniture, feed into ever longer production chains, and conveyor systems move goods faster than any paw could. As demands from the cats grow, you balance their tribute against the needs of your own growing population.
