About Beast of Reincarnation
Beast of Reincarnation is a one-person, one-dog action RPG developed by GAME FREAK inc. and published by Fictions, released on 3 August 2026. Set in a post-apocalyptic Japan, it follows Emma, an outcast shunned for her affliction, and Koo, the blighted dog, who are humanity's only hope on an expansive journey through a world of impermanence where forests suddenly burst forth amidst the wasteland.
Emma and Koo fight as a unit, combining Emma's sword abilities with commands that let Koo unleash various techniques in a hybrid combat system that blends elements of action and turn-based RPGs. Unique skill trees, gear and spirit stones let you define your own loadout, whether you prefer ranged, stealthy or aggressive combat, as the bond and abilities of the pair blossom along the way.
In the year 4026 you travel through blighted forests and ever-changing scenery, battling bosses from all over the world and capturing their powers in order to defeat the Beast of Reincarnation. The journey brings moments of loneliness alongside the comfort of your companion, and a brutal story where every character hides a dangerous truth reveals the intertwined fates of Emma and Koo.
