About CLeM

CLeM is a narrative puzzle adventure developed by Mango Protocol and published by Iceberg Interactive. It was released on Steam on 6 February 2024.

You wake up in a cold, dim room inside a house that feels oddly familiar. A notebook labelled CLeM, filled with sketches of insects and alchemical symbols, carries a single instruction, "Bring me BEAUTY", while a mysterious voice guides your steps. The studio calls its approach "Puzzlevania": puzzles and exploration are woven together, so each solved riddle opens new rooms, and crafted magic toys let you reach hidden spots and revisit familiar places in a new light. The art style is cute and hand-drawn, but the story of manipulation, pride and redemption has a distinctly dark edge.

Key Features

  • Puzzlevania design – Puzzles and exploration interlock, gradually opening up the house
  • Magic toy crafting – Create enchanted toys to reach new areas and reveal secrets
  • Alchemist’s notebook – Clues, drawings and notes that guide you through each mystery
  • Branching fate – Choices that shape how the dark story ends
  • Controller ready – Full gamepad support, including DualShock and DualSense

PC Version and Compatibility

The key activates the Windows version on Steam. Minimum requirements are Windows 7, an Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM and 2 GB of free space. Full voice-over is available in English and Spanish, with subtitles in German, French, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and several Asian languages. Polish and Italian are not supported. A gamepad is recommended, though mouse and keyboard also work.

Global Activation & What You Receive

You receive a digital Steam key for the standard game. It is a Global key with no regional restriction, so it works on a Steam account in any country. In the Steam client choose Games → Activate a Product on Steam, enter the code and the game is added to your library permanently.

Why Buy This Game?

CLeM is a good choice if you like puzzle games where the world itself is the puzzle. Rather than separate levels, the whole house slowly reveals its connections, rewarding careful observation and note-reading. Its gentle visuals make it approachable, while the unsettling story keeps you curious until the end. With modest requirements, full controller support and Steam Achievements and Trading Cards, it also fits relaxed evening sessions on a laptop or the TV.
