About Chroma Squad
Chroma Squad is a tactical RPG developed by Behold Studios and published by Akupara Games. It launched on Steam for Windows, Mac and Linux on 30 April 2015.
Five stunt actors quit their jobs to start their own TV show in the spirit of Power Rangers and Japanese tokusatsu. Between episodes you manage the studio: hire actors, buy equipment, run marketing and craft weapons, costumes and giant robots out of cardboard and duct tape. When the cameras roll, you control the colour-suited team in turn-based battles where Teamwork moves let heroes boost and launch each other, and audience ratings reward stylish play. Skill trees, random loot, mecha fights and a branching story with three endings round out the season.
Key Features
- Run a TV studio – actors, gear, marketing and crafting.
- Turn-based tactics – combine abilities with Teamwork moves.
- Giant mecha battles – destroy the city to save it.
- Branching story – three different endings.
- Pixel art – with a chiptune soundtrack.
