About DarkSwitch
DarkSwitch is a vertical survival city builder developed by Cyber Temple and published by Cyber Temple Games LLC, released for Windows on 9 April 2026. Your settlement grows upward on a giant tree that rises 200 metres, and every new level you build has to be connected, supplied and protected while danger rolls in from below.
The main threat is the Fog. You defend your people with light and flame, placing light sources and defences so the settlement survives each night. Tower defense ideas sit right inside the city building, so planning walls of light around homes and workshops is as important as keeping food, materials and fuel flowing between the platforms of the tree.
Beyond the trunk lies a wider world to explore. You can send scouts, set up airship routes and build outposts, bringing back resources and discoveries that help the city grow. Along the way you face moral choices that shape how your survivors live, while zip lines and stairways tie the vertical districts together into one working town.
The campaign runs for more than 20 hours and offers over 80 buildings, 11 resource types and 4 technology levels to unlock step by step. A folk-horror setting gives the world its eerie character, and the soundtrack comes from Akira Yamaoka, the composer known for the Silent Hill series. It is rated USK 6.
