About Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection
Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection is an action platformer developed and published by CAPCOM, released on 31 May 2021. It brings back the legendary arcade series with a fresh look and a brand new adventure. The demon world has once again invaded the human realm, and the brave knight Arthur sets out alone to stop the Demon Lord and his armies of ghouls, skeletons and monsters. The classic gameplay that made the series famous returns in a modern form that keeps every jump and every throw tense.
The art style looks like a picture book that has come to life, with hand-drawn graveyards, burning villages, frozen caverns and haunted forests. Each stage is packed with enemies that rise from the ground, swoop from the sky and wait behind every corner. Arthur can lose his armour with a single hit, and a second hit sends him back to the last checkpoint, so careful movement and timing matter a great deal. Giant bosses guard the end of each area and test everything you have learned along the way.
A wide set of weapons gives you options in every fight, from the classic lance and swift daggers to torches, hammers and other tools you find along the way. The mysterious Umbral Tree lets you spend collected fairies on magic spells and passive skills, so you can shape the knight to match your approach. Several difficulty levels let both newcomers and veterans enjoy the journey, while the hardest settings deliver the punishing challenge the series is known for.
The game runs on Windows 10 (64-bit) and supports 8 languages, including English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. The minimum setup calls for an Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD FX-6300 processor, 4 GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 760 or Radeon R7 260x graphics card with 2 GB of VRAM, DirectX 12 and 10 GB of free disk space. It is rated USK 12 and suits players who love tough arcade action, precise jumps and memorable boss battles.
