About Kona

Kona is a first-person mystery adventure developed by Parabole and published by Parabole and Ravenscourt. Steam release date: 17 March 2017.

In October 1970, private detective Carl Faubert drives to a remote village in northern Canada to look into vandalism against a wealthy client – and finds the place empty, buried in a sudden blizzard, with frozen figures and signs that something far stranger has happened. You explore freely on foot and in your pickup truck, search houses, read letters and photograph clues that fill your case notebook. Survival matters too: you keep warm with fires, manage your health and stress, and occasionally defend yourself against wolves. A narrator comments on your actions like a radio drama, giving the game a distinctive storytelling voice.
