About Kritter: Defend Together
Kritter: Defend Together is an action roguelite with tower defence and party game elements, developed by LJF Games and published by LJF Games and NAGA. It was released on 10 March 2026 for Windows and Linux. Your mission is to protect M. Ark, the coolest spaceship in the universe, from waves of hostile aliens, either solo or alongside up to three other players in the same session.
Between waves you leave the ship to explore the surroundings, gather resources and find power-ups that shape a devastating build for your Kritter. Three procedurally generated levels hold random events such as arena fights, bases with upgrade chests and patrols carrying gold and materials, so every outing plays a little differently. Building materials go into ramparts, walls, traps and turrets, and the stronger your defence, the higher your rank and the better your rewards.
When the next wave approaches you have to read the incoming threat and get back to M. Ark in time. You fight as one of four classes: the robust melee Defender who spins a sword, the Engineer with a flamethrower and turret for area damage, the long-range Tracker specialised in mines, missiles and precision shots, and the swift Ninja who dashes through enemies and throws kunai. After each successful wave you choose one of three rewards, such as extra damage, a ship repair or a small health potion, and base upgrades boost your economy and exploration time.
Defeat is part of the deal. Run-based upgrades vanish when M. Ark triggers its temporal rewind, but Soul Crystals remain and unlock permanent upgrades like a radar, a merchant and a second row of walls, while a talent tree grows run after run. Beating normal mode unlocks Hardcore, and an endless mode with a global leaderboard plus a speedrun mode test the best players. Kritter: Defend Together is rated USK 16.
