About Shardlight
Shardlight is a post-apocalyptic adventure game developed and published by Wadjet Eye Games, the publisher behind Primordia, Gemini Rue and Technobabylon, released in March 2016. The world ended on the day the bombs fell, and since then there has been only disease, hunger and death. The ruling Aristocrats, a faceless oligarchy, control every resource and hold unchallenged authority.
There is never enough food, water or vaccine to go around: the rich receive regular vaccinations in exchange for supporting the government, while the poor live in fear, superstition and squalor. Amy Wellard, a young woman stricken with a deadly plague and reluctantly working for the government to qualify for the vaccine lottery, believes there is a cure – and she is going to find it, even if it costs her her life.
