SpellForce: Conquest of Eo is a turn-based strategy game set in the fantastic world of SpellForce, developed by Owned by Gravity and published by THQ Nordic, released on 3 February 2023. You take up the mantle of your master as heir to his mysterious wizard’s tower, study a multitude of spells to cast over the lands around you, summon fantastical minions and train mighty warriors to roam the world. Battles are fast-paced yet tactical, and your master’s unfinished quest leads towards the ultimate source of magical power, the Allfire.
Exploring the Realm of Eo is a large part of the adventure. You win over heroes who go on quests for you, find useful artefacts and ingredients and bring back riches, while talented apprentices and workers expand your domain and gather resources. To grow, you need to control sources of Allfire, filling your grimoire with new spells, crafting artefacts and improving your tower with new rooms, from a necromancer’s crypt to a mystical crystal chamber. You choose your path as a Necromancer raising dozens of undead, an Alchemist concocting potions and explosive vials, or an Artificer crafting glyphs and magical items for your troops, with more than 60 spells and over 100 different units from lowly goblins to majestic griffons.
Your tower can levitate and travel the lands. On the way you face New Purity fanatics, hostile granite dwarves and bloodthirsty orcs, explore forgotten ruins full of undead and demons and help villages haunted by ghosts. Rival mages oppose your rise to power, so you can defeat their armies and march on their towers, or find a way to appease them and profit from their knowledge.
The game runs on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and supports 5 interface languages: English with full audio, German, Russian and Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
