About Bleed 2
Bleed 2 is a relentless arcade action game created and published by Ian Campbell, released on 8 February 2017. It is built around air-dodging, bullet-reflecting and an enormous number of bosses. Wryn is the greatest and only remaining hero in the world, and it is up to you to help her battle an invading force of villains and live up to her title as the Greatest Hero of All Time.
The campaign spans seven levels containing more than 25 boss fights, from flying gunships to armoured trucks and stranger threats. Unique controls let you shoot, dodge, reflect bullets and slow time all at once, so every encounter becomes a fast dance through dense bullet patterns. Air-dodges can be chained to stay aloft, and reflecting shots back at enemies turns their own firepower into your best weapon.
Four difficulty levels do more than tweak numbers, because each one remixes enemy placement and boss patterns. As you play you unlock new weapons, characters and abilities that change how runs feel. Arcade Mode challenges you to tackle the whole game on a single life and compete for leaderboard glory, while Endless Mode serves randomly generated levels and daily challenges for repeat sessions.
Two players can play together locally in every mode, with at least one gamepad required. The game features an original soundtrack by Jukio Kallio and sound design by Joonas Turner. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux with English text, achievements, leaderboards, cloud saves and full controller support. Bleed 2 is rated USK 16.
