Epistory - Typing Chronicles is an atmospheric action adventure developed by Fishing Cactus and published by Fishing Cactus, PID Games and Dear Villagers. It was released on 30 March 2016. The whole game is played with the keyboard, so every step, attack and puzzle solution comes from the words you type.
You play the muse of a writer, guiding a girl who rides a giant three-tailed fox through a world made of paper. The land folds and unfolds around you as you explore, and the story itself appears as text on the ground, taking shape as you uncover more of it.
Combat is about speed and accuracy. Enemies carry words above their heads, and typing them correctly defeats them. Along the way you unlock elemental powers such as fire, ice, wind and spark, which help against tougher foes and open new paths, while the difficulty adapts to your typing skill.
