About Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance
Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance is a large-scale real-time strategy game developed by Gas Powered Games and published by Square Enix. This Windows version was released on 28 September 2011. It is a standalone expansion that continues the story of Supreme Commander, adding a new faction, new units and a new campaign. The last days of man are at hand, and you command vast armies across land, sea and air to decide the fate of humanity.
Two years after the Infinite War, the once great warring nations lie in ruins, and hope for a brighter future is only a bitter memory. A new, seemingly unstoppable enemy, supported by the zealots of The Order, now seeks to eradicate mankind: UEF, Aeon Loyalist and Cybran alike. With their backs against the wall, the tattered remnants of the human forces must put aside old hatreds and band together for one last desperate stand.
The new playable faction is a cunning and devious race with advanced technology, true masters of quantum science, and it serves as the main threat in the campaign. 110 new land, sea, air, base and experimental units let armies cover strategic weaknesses or become the ultimate expression of their military doctrine. Fully realized navies, orbital weaponry and advanced counter intelligence technologies give commanders deadly new capabilities on huge battlefields.
The brand new single-player campaign has you gather your forces to save mankind from extinction, while new maps offer fresh ground for skirmish and versus matches where players prove their supremacy. The new faction can be played in those matches too. Cloud saves are supported, and the game runs on very modest hardware by modern standards. Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance is rated USK 12.
