About Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death

Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death is a first-person shooter developed and published by Rebellion, originally released in 2003. Steam release date: 26 March 2009.

Based on the 2000 AD comics, the game puts you behind Judge Dredd's helmet as Mega-City One slides into chaos and a vampire outbreak paves the way for Judge Death and the Dark Judges. What sets it apart from other shooters of its era is the Law meter: shooting suspects who surrender, or blasting civilians, gets you penalised, so you often order perps to give up and cuff them instead. Dredd's Lawgiver pistol switches between ammo types, and missions run from city blocks to the Undercity. Split-screen multiplayer modes were also part of the original release.
